What is a

Community Land Trust?

A Community Land Trust (CLT) is a nonprofit organization that owns land in trust for the community. Homes are sold to qualified homebuyers, while the land remains permanently affordable. This model helps prevent displacement, preserves affordability for future generations, and keep communities strong and rooted.
